' Mr. H. Hamilton, tlie Dominion Museum expert, has returned to Rotorua from his examination of the rock carvings at tlie Kaingaroa Plains. He states that the find is the most important discovery yet made. The carvings are undoubtedly of aboriginal origin. The period is uncertain, but the carvings are . of considerable antiquity. The canoes, all depicted heading south, have peculiar features of adornment. They contain single and double spirals. Dr. Buck makes a further inspection on Thursday. Ethnological revelations are highly probable. Spring’s new goods at Harrops suggest “off with the old and one with the new.” Come in and inspect these stylish quality goods. Prices are distinctly moderate. —Harrope Ltd., Hawera.—Advt. Every trace of Rheunaajysm can be • enioved with Tthenmo/ 4/3A] sure and pleasant Specific K*r __ moving worms is Wade’s Worm Figs.—r
