HOLIDAY ACCIDENTS

Received Oct. 6, 11.40 n.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 6. The usual crop of holiday accidents occurred on Eight-Hour Dayat Penrith. A speedway competitor in a motor-cycle race fell heavily from his machine and died later. A competitor in another race fell from his machine. A spectator who- rushed to his assistance was rushed down by the following cyclist and was severely injured. Three motor-cars collided when rounding a bend, the occupants of which received minor injuries. Two men were sent to hospital and two others were treated as a result of a collision between taxicabs in George Street.
Four other men were injured; as the result of motor accidents at Palm Beach.
A boy fell over a hundred-foot cliff ;|nd was killed.
