The Saklatvala case was thrust into the otherwise peaceful inter-Parlia-mentary Union session on Friday, •when Mr. Ben Riley, a British Labour member, said that an unfortunate leilow member of the union had been P** 0 - vented from attending. He said that unless such arrangements were made as would enable all members to enjoy equal rights and make their particular contributions to the great work for which the Union existed confidence would be destroyed and a great blow struck at the very basis and purpose of the union.
