Anti-Labour members of Parliament are sending a strong protest to the Imperial Government against an alteration in the appointment of State Governments. They stated that sixteen out of the twenty members of the Legislative Council are signatories to the memorandum. There was no evidence that the majority of the electors: of the State desired a change in the existing system.
