THE GR'ANfID —TO-NIGHT. “THE PAINTED FLAPPER.” A deep rooted research and an expose of the .peculiarities of the modern girl called the “tlupper” will be revealed when “The Taunted Flapper,” starring James Kirkwood and Pauline Gar on opens at The Grand to-night, it is an ultra modern story based on the present day American girl. The nucleus of the story is of a flaper who is precipitated into a series of intricate situations wheiein she cleverly manoeuvres her .sister out of a distasteful marriage and also extricates herself from a tight corner anc saves, her honour. “The Painted Flapper” is portrayed by Pauline Garon, and the man from abroad is played by Jam-as Kirkwood.
