JERSEY BULL SALE. Some choieely bred bulls will be sold nt the New Plymouth Jersey Cattle Club’s sixth annual sale on Tuesday next, the 6th inst., at the Waiwakaiho show grounds. The catalogue is a small one comprising 36 selected bulls. There are sons of the imported bulls, “Viola’s Golden Laddie,’’ “Clarion,’’ “Xenias Oxford Lad,’’ “Bright Sultan,’’ “Wotton Bed Buoy,’’ and sons and grandsons of the great bulls “Grannie’s Knight’’ (sire of “Holly Oak Adeline’’), “Holly Bank Squire,’’ “Molina’s General’’ and “Miro Meadow’s Teddy,’’ etc. The dams are all excellent cows and most of them have semi-official records which run up to 710 lbs. All are undoubted herd improvers. They provide an excellent selection for pedigree breeders desiring good herd headers or for a progressive dairy farmer desiring to increase his butter-fat returns.
