At the welcome home dinner to. the New South Wales Rugby Union team, great satisfaction was expressed at the team’s performance in New Zealand. The chairman (Mr Wood) said that even the most optimistic did not dream of the successes, which were attained. Mr J. Henderson said that the early successes of the team were pleasing, but its final record was surprising, in view of the great amount of travelling. The tour proved conclusively that the New South Wales’ standard was equal to the provincial standard of New Zealand.
