ENTERTAINMENTS
HAWERA BAND. The Hawera Municipal Band will give a sacred recital in Victoria Park, Stratford, to-morrow afternoon (Sunday), at 2.45 o’clock. In the event of wet weather the concert will be given in the Town Hall. At the conclusion of the programme the Hawera and Stratford Bands will mass and play an item. After the Stratford programme the Hawera Band will journey to Eltham, where a programme will be given in the Town Hall at 8.15 o’clock, the proceeds' of which will be devoted to the Eltham Soldiers’ Memorial. As the programme includes some very fine items, residents of these districts can look forward to a musical treat.
