BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ AGB ICELTTJRAL pLUBS. ' Prizes gained by Kakaramea .scholars m the boys’ atid girls’ clubs in jast year’s comeptitiohs ivere presented at a social function on Monday afternoon. Mr K. F. Hemingway representative at the Wanganui Education'. Board, -was ore-sent, also Mr Hogg, chief agricultural instructor for the Wanganui Education Board. Addresses on the value of the competitions and the benefits derived from scientific cultivation were made by Messrs Hemingway and Hc.ug, and the latter presented the prize's. He congratulated the winners on the excellent results they had achieved, apd the school generally upon its fine position m the group.
At the conclusion of the prize-giving the visitors were entertained at afternoon tea by the ladies.
