Addresses on the value of the competitions and the benefits derived from scientific cultivation were made by Messrs Hemingway and Hc.ug, and the latter presented the prize's. He congratulated the winners on the excellent results they had achieved, apd the school generally upon its fine position m the group.

At the conclusion of the prize-giving the visitors were entertained at afternoon tea by the ladies.
