A whaling boat’s crew had a sensasational experience off Twofold Bay. They harpooned a large right whale which a school of killers had driven inshore. In a struggle the monster rose under the boat, and carried it perilously balanced on its back for a considerable distance and, sinking again, deposited: it in the water oil an even heel.
