W.E.A. The final W.E.A.. lecture, for the session was held last week. At the close of the lecture a. vote was. passed thanking Mr. W. A, Slieat for his very pa in.staking efforts on behalf of the eilaiss. Votes oT thanks were also passed to. the County Council for the use of the Council Chambers for the work of the association. and to Mr, Tiplady for the great assistance that he has extended to the association during the past two years. The management committee was re-elected as last, year: Messrs. Tiplady (president), J. "Cocker, and G. H. P. Fitzgerald (secretary). Those present were in favour of studying New. Zealand history next session. a,nd it iis probable that a cou.ise of lectures on this subject. will he arranged.
