PRINCE PREMIER was bred by Mr E. E. Jenkins, Dunsandel, Canterbury. Prince Premier is a fine, bold, upstanding horse with good broad sound .feet, a fine set of legs, with plenty of good straight flowing silky hair. He is a rich dark brown colour, with white hind legs, and has- a splendid temper; lias a good head set on a good neck and shoulders, with a good body proportionately built. He is a very weighty horse, likely to produce the heavy cart horses so much required nowadays. He has splendid action, and is a bold straight-goer. He is a... sure foal-getter; his first foals are very highly spoken of. His sire, Premier Pride, carried off the championship prizes in all South Island- show rings- for years, also winning many prizes for sire and four of his progeny.
