Mr Ed,ric Cundell, examiner for Trinity College, London, eoudxieted the practical examinations in pianoforte at the Manaia Convent with the following results: — Licentiate —Mary Hickland.

Intermediate —May Prout 74, Minnie McKay 67.. Junior—Betty McCollum 77, Beryl Eaves 74. Preparatory —Mary Kavanagh 80 (honours). ■First Steps —Eileen iSutton 82. (honours), Winnie Sutton 78, Joyce Nieolson 77. All pupils presented passed, two with honours.
