The .tonnage rendered idle through the seamen’s dispute in Australian ports totals 351,549 tons, representing thirty-nine ships. The trade, which would in ordinary .circumstances he shared by all shipping lines, is nowbeing thrown on British ships carrying coloured crews, foreign ships and the Australian Commonwealth line.
