Results:, Ashcott Hunters’ Hurdles.—Tawhei 1, The Emneror 2, Hillation 3. Rebuff and Blue' Streak fell. Scratched: Woden, Silverfish, Velvet King, Radio, Black Chief. Won by three lengths, five lengths between second and third. Time, 2.54.
Oringi Hurdles. —Little River 1, Bestir 2, Admiration 3. Toa Taua fell. Scratched: Goldpiece, Comedy Prince, Silverfish. Won by six lengths, threequarters of a length between second and third. Time, 2.49. Taliapau Trial Plate. —Peshwar 1, Penman 2, Regal Star 3. Scratched : Humorist, Girribillie, Thomond, Raca, w Crown Reel, Horomea, Golden Egg. A I close finish. Time, 1.5. Dannevirke Hunt Steeples.—Woden i, Oneroa 2, Rebuff 3. Tarehu, Radio and Donoghue fell. Scratched: Silverfish, Wetoki. Won by three lengths, five lengths between second and third. Time, 5.4.
