RETURNS COMPILED. FROM OUR PARLIAMENTARY REPORTER. WELLINGTON, Sept. 17. A return called for by Air Isitt, showing the convictions for drukenness in no-license districts, was laid on the table of the House to-dav, together with particulars of thq quality and kind of liquor sent. The .report covers a - period from January 1 to December 31, 1924. The convictions for drunkenness were: Ohinemuri 29, Alastertoii 41, Ashburton 33, Oainaru- 33, Clutha 19, Alataura 9, Invercargill 79; total 242. Of this number live persons -were under 21 years of age, and 21 under 25 years. The amount of liquor-sent into nolicensed districts was: > Beer 319,152 gallqns, brandy 769 gallons, gin 886 gallons, rum 1155 gallons, whisky 16,634 gallons, wine 8466 gallons; grand total, 344,064 gallons,-
