At Westfield to-day there was a. larger yarding of beef. Prime licet rei,named firm at Hast week As quotations, hut second quality was decidedly easier. Quotations: Extra choice ox, £2 2s per lOOlih; choice and prime, £L 17s to £1 19s; other, 32s to 3G*s; prime young eoiw and heifer beef, £1 14s to £1 18s; medium quality, £1 10s to £1 13s ; other. £1 4s to £1 9s. Sheep were penned in good numbers and prices were 3s to 4s per head e j-,ie:\ Extra heavy prime wethers iriade £2 Os .to £2 9s 9d; heavy prime, £2 3s to £2 ss; light- and medium, £1 19s to £2 2s. No ewes were yarded Spring taimibs made £1 14s to ,01 18s 0:1; hoggets, 3ls Gd, 32s Gd to 31c 3d; small, £1 5s to £1 9s. In pigs a, short market sold at advanced prices, bacon era especially being in keen demand. Heavy baconens made £4 15s to £5 Is; light and medium baconens. £4 to £1 14s; heavy porkers £3 12s to £4; .medium and 1 ••glut. £2 15s, to £3 10s. Chives sold .at. late nates. Heavy vealers made £4 2s to £5 4<s; niedium, £3 to £4; light, £2 Gs to £2 19s; ethers, £1 5s to £2 .‘>s.
