Mr Deacon was conducting a funeral service at Cumberland, the wind carried his clerical cap from the coffin lid to the open grave.’ Subsequently he remarked: ‘‘l think that is a bad omen.” He appeared to he much perturbed and later was found dead in bed. —A. and N.Z.
