Watersiders at Rockhampton and Cairns 1 have declared ‘‘black ’ the poit of Brisbane, pending the adoption there of the rotary system for picking up labour. Cairns has also declared Townsville “black.” BRISBANE, Se.pt. 9. A complete liold-up of shipping is developing in Northern Queensland owinor to a. strike of watersiders. So far Townsville is not involved, but the watersiders there have intimated that no cargo for ports north of Townsville will be unloaded at Townsville.
