A sensation was caused in Greymor..fi last Tuesday night, when the police received information that two litt'e gi:ls, named Beulah Markland, aged 13 years, and Mavis- Gray, aged 12 years, were lost on. the hills. Going for a walk after Sunday school, they ' ost their hearings, and as the sun sank they were unable to recover any serse of direction. They therefore made no their minds that it was a case of spending the night in the bmh. and retired into a patch of scrub nearby. When searchers found them at midnight, the elder girl, who had he'ui keeping a vigil while her companion slept, remarked that she lnd l>?en talking with the other girl, before she slept, of ‘ the story of the “Babes in the Wood.’’
