AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE
To approve the annual report and balance-sheet a committee meeting of the Hawera Amateur Athletic Club was held last night. There were present Messrs A. Grant (chairman), L. I. Martor, Allen, L. Hunt and A. E. Burgess. The annual report aud balance-sheet were approved for publication and the annual meeting was arranged for Thursday, September 17. It was decided to hold a. sports meeting and cycle road race on Labour day, and to divert the net profits to assisting the sports’ candidate in the Queen Carnival.
