Downey 2; three entries, (b) Children under twelve: Fieda Keliland l, Jack Beamish 2; twelve entries, (e) Uhiklren under fourteen: Mary Kelland 1, Rita itlhbeitib 2 ; eleven entries, (d) .Children under sixteen: Leslie Oliver 1, Inez 2; five entries. • Essay, “What 1 saw at the Winter Show”: —Children under fourteen: Peggy Chadwick 1, Gwen Chadwick 2; five entries. Children under sixteen : Inez Wells 1, Mavis. Reid 2 ; tliree entries.

Freehand drawing : —Children under twelve: Nonnaii Chadwick 1, Colin Ciiaidrniiak .2; itwo entries. Children under fourteen: Rita Ehibet 1, Moira Henderson 2; four entries. Children under sixteen: Phyllis Bollond 1, Inez Wells 2; three entries. Thel judge was Mr. H. W. Jackson. During the last few days the decoration of the Winter Show Hall has been proceeding rapidly, and till© decorators have succeeded in making the hall very beautiful. Everything points to the .show being moist successful. Record entries have already been received in the Home Industries sections, and the floiiaL sections, which close at 5 o'clock' this evening, ishould also constitute a record. His Worship the Mayor (Mr. E. A. Paoey) will perform the opening veremony at 2.30 p.'m. to-morrow afternoon. ’
