AGITATORS DENOUNCED.

EXTRA EDITION.

WORK AMONG NATIVES. MINISTER CONTEMPLATES LEGISLATION. BY CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBAGHT. (Received Sep. 7, 10.10 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, Sep. 6. Mr Roos, Minister for Justice for the Transvaal, speaking at Pretoria, violently denounced the white men who were agitating among the natives and putting foolish ideas into their heads. He said he was contemplating legislation to punish such agitators. Two things the Transvaal Nationalists would never consent to were direct representation of the natives in Parliament and giving the Kaffir a vote. — Reuter.
