The weather is atrocious, a. gale raging, with thunder and lightning. The track is practically under water. Results: Kiwitea Bracelet. —Velvet King 1, Tikiina 2, Birkenose 3. Scratched : Husker and Hilation. Won l>v half a length. Time, 2.391-5. Te Matai Hurdles. —Prince Rufus 1, Good Mark 2, Sir Fanciful 3. Scratched: Bull ford, Goldpiece, Lady Comet. Won by three lengths. Time, 3.15 2-5, Hunt Cup Steeplechase. —Adrienne 1, Price 2, Silverfish 3. Scratched: Craigowan, Aotearoa, Birkenose. Won by six lengths. Time, 7.151-5. Only three finished. Aokautere Hack Flying Handicap.— Owen 1, Wilderness 2, Birthmark 3. Scratched: Appellant, Ben Nevis. Won by a neck. Time. 1.27 4-5. Parorangi Hack Steeplechase.— Oneroa 1, Kovno 2. Scratched: Woden, Goldpiece, Bonny Rill, Price, Ngahinapouri, Aotearoa. Won by 15 lengths. Time, 6.13.
