A deputation representing New South Wales fruitgrowers waited on Mr Dunn, Minister fo r Agriculture, asking his assistance to get a modification of the New Zealand regulations in regard to the importation of fruit, in order that the wholesale destruction of consignments may not follow upon condemnation of a single case. In Victoria only the infected fruit was destroyed. Mr Dunn promised to consider what could be done in the matter.
