You appear to have a remarkable sense of news value. Your •type iis good and clear, and you set things out in a most attractive style. You have a great cable service, and things happening all over the world J find their way before your readers eyes ’with great rapidity. Some of your publications in thel various towns are very 'fine, and the public should appreciate 'so great a press.” Mr. A. P. Herbert, of Punch, said: “It is surprising the great number of papers you have in New ,Zealand. 1 have purchased quite a number of them •and X notice that they are very well 'produced, and present their news in a 'quiet dignfied manner that is very Creditable to you. I enjoy reading your 'papers. They also are very British in tone.”
