Early this afternoon an enterprising child, apparently a, ’little over two years cf age, left its home in George Street and. I "unobserved by any of the family, toddled off to town in ,sea,roh of entertainment. Arrived at Messrs. D. McCormick and Go>.’« establishment, the youngster .saw -something to suit its need and calmly annexed a small gocart and set off to see. more of the town —possibly in search of a, 'suitable occupant of the go-cart. However, an elder brother was also on a search and, finding the truant, restored the gp-oarb to its rightful owners; who were quite unaware of its unauthorised loan, and the adventurous toddler was ignominiously dragged homeward. This .story is vouched for by Sergeant Henry, who witnessed the finale.
