Mr C. A. Strack, who was for 28 years headmaster of the Hawera School, has been appointed manager ot the Education Court at the Dunedin Exhibition . Mr J. McCombs, M.P. , for Lyttelton, arrived in Hawera this afternoon from New Plymouth.’ He will deliver an address to a meeting of men under the auspices of the New Zealand Alliance to-morrow afternoon, and leave for Wellington on Monday.
