NEGOTIATIONS ON PACT PROPOSALS.

The German Teply to yesterday’s Note was handed to M. Briand (Minister for Foreign Affairs). The; reply agrees to a continuance of negotiations and announces the despatch of a jurist to London to confer with Allied experts. Advice from London states that the conference of legal experts in connection with the pact has been postponed owing to Sir Cecil Hurst’s departure for Geneva.
