SAVING TO FACTORIES.

AS AGAINST NEW PLYMOUTH.

In our report, vesterdav of the annual meeting of the West- Coist Refrigerating Company mention was made of the savings in railage tC South Taranaki dairy companies bv shipping via Patea- instead of through New Plymouth. The table below gives details for the various factories cdicerned last season, the figures being based oil. the difference in railage from Eltharii and stations south of Eltham to Paten as against Moturoa, plus 2/M a ton haulage from Moturoa to Breakwater: —
