BRIDE AND WEDDING MORN. A pretty Irish “colleen” who climbed the chimney of her bedroom on her wedding morning to meet her lover at the altar 'is the heroine of a recent Donegal romance. The girl’s parents objected to tlie match, and locked her in her room, bidding her give up hope of marrying the man on whom she had set her heart. ..." When the girl’s wedding morning came however, she dressed herself tor the ceremony, climbed up the sooty chimney to tlie roof of her home, and lowered herself carefully by the ra t n ‘ pipe to the ground. She ran to the near-by village of Laghey, where she hived a motor car, and drove to the church at full speed, arriving as the bridegroom stood waiting at the steps of the altar. The ceremony proceeded wi tliolit interruption.
