MINER’S AWFUL ORDEAL.
LONDON, Aug. 11. A younjr Welsh collier named John •Hiwris was buried to the chin by a fall of earth from the roof of the Bwllfn pit. Hn.c' i.s sang hymns as long a.s helpers ne e able to keep his face clear of the '-•uitin a Iv-fa’ling earth, but finally, alter I t hours, lie was suffocated.
