(iSY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 24.

Teams of 19 riflemen from the American warships and the Auckland Rifle Club met on. the Penrose range, when the latter were outclassed by the expert navy men, whose accuracy was remarkable. The conditions were: Ten shots at" 300, 500 and 600 yards. The navy team won by 2816 points to 2713. Twelve open from the Fleet scored 286 bulls out of 360 shots.
