I, AND OW N EES U N IC N O W N . SYDNEY, Aug. 11. There is a. large quantity of land in the Erima Shire Council of which no one will admit the ownership. Decently, when the council sent out assessment notices, 780 were returned marked, “address unknown,” or “unclaimed,” and 156 are entered in the books ms “owners unknown.” The amount of rates owing on this land is £14,008. The council is appealing to the Rlagiatrar-Genera.l to issue certificates of ownership.
