Received Aug. 24, 11.15 a.m. LONDON. Aug. 23. Hobbs is giving his record-making bal to the Daily News hospital Aidrelesi fund. The paper offers the hat as a prize for the winner of a competition forecasting Hobbs’ runs, centuries and hatting average at the end of the season. The competitors are contributing one shilling each to the wireless fund.
