Owing to some engines being locked up in the Ipswich railway works on account oif the strike, many trains had to be cancelled. Inquiries indicate that a general strike is anticipated an the near future, owing to the dismissal of a ganger. T'he section of the line between Woolonwi.iL and Nonbhgaite has been declared “black” by maintenance men. Ait a meeting oif the locomotive section oif the Australian railway union, if was decided to instruct the members of the section not to haul trains over this section am from midnight tonight.
