A cable message from Geneva states that Mr. Dan Durand, of Canada, will nrohnhlv be elected president of the League of Nations Assembly. A Brisbane message states that- Mr E. Hooper, a prominent Leagueite, who was manager of the team which toured New Zealand in 1913, collapsed and died after a cold shower hath just subsequent to refereeing a local match.
