The Wellington Education Board today passed the following resolution: “That the principals of training colleges be asked to furnish leaving certificates to trainees leaving the training college and shoeing any qualifications they may possess.” WOMAN’S SKULL FRACTURED. ASHBURTON, Aug. 19. As a result of being thrown out of a trap at the traffic bridge last evening, Mrs Stoddart, aged 41, wife of Leo. Stoddart, farmer, of Willoughby, suffered a fracture of the skull, dying shortly after her admission to hos-r pital. WARNING TO DAIRY COMPANIES. NEIW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 19. In the Magistrate's Court, the Bell [Block Dairy Company was fined £2 and /costs 7s for sending to grading stoics crates of cheese branded “full cream Cheese,' ’ which should have been branded “part skimmed.” The .proceedings were taken as a /warning to dairy companies. A heavy ipenality was not pressed for.
