At a meeting of the executive of the National Party for the Hutt electorate last evening, delegates were* present from all. parts of the electorate. Very feeling references were made to Mr Wilford’s ill-health, and the hope was expressed that the trip would restore him to good health. A resolution was carried placing e.n record the meeting’s appreciation of his long service* to the Dominion and to the electorate, and pledging to do its utmots to secure his return for the Hutt, and hoping that he would consent to nomination (states a Wellington Press Association message).
