THE WOMAN’S STORY. • *Y cable-—press associ vrinx—- copy rigid SYDNEY, Aug. 19. Mrs Dyer (not Dwyer) was the name of the victim of the shooting at a flat at Paddington yesterday. She informed the police that Martini, the caretaker of the flat, who was found dead, became enraged at lunch because she told him that she was unable to prepare his evening meal. Suddenly Martini drew a revolver. After a struggle she secured the weapon, but he again obtained possession and shot her. He then committed suicide.
