At to-day’s meeting of the Mangatoki Co-op. Dairy Company, a vote of thanks was passed, on the motion of Mr D. L. A. Astbury, seconded by Mr C. E. McGuinness, placing on record the shareholders’ approval and their vprv sincere appreciation of the faithful and va 1 uable services Tendered by Mr Jacob Marx, chairman of directors throughout the 25 vears of the comIMnv’s existence. Speaking to the mortion. shareholders were‘unanimous in their regret that Mr Marx Could not .’ see his way clear to accept office for anv further term. In reply, Mr Marx said that while he was sorry that personal reasons compelled him to sever his official connection with the directorate, he would be willing at all ■ times to do everything in hi s power to further the interests of the Company.
