Entry into the Farmers’ Union Trading Company’s buildings in Hobson street, Auckland, was made by burglars some time between midday on Saturday and Monday morning. The thieves were successful in securing notes arid cheques to the value of about £SOO. The money was in a safe in the office, and this was cut open at the back by gmne instrument.
