HORTICULTURAL CONFERENCE
CONFERENCE AT WELLINGTON

The Horticultural Conference elected Mr. F. J. Nathan, of Palmerston North, president-. The executive committee appointed consisted of Messrs. Waugh, Biaillie. Cockayne. Campbell. Wall, Brazil and Professor Perm. The principal business done was to -set up a committee to go fully into the que-s« tion of conditions of examinations in horticulture and the awarding of diplomas and degrees to those qualified.
The conference wan formally opened by the Hon. W. No.worthy, who gave a, short address on the work and objects of the meeting and complimented members on the progress they had made.
