Received Aug. 14, 10 a,til. WASHINGTON, Aug. 13. Two naval destroyers, ..the William Jones and the McCauley, will be assigned to guard the proposed aeroplane flight from Sail Francisco to Hawaii, which is now scheduled to "start o n the 20th September. Complete radio compass and radio communication tests between tlie ’planes and the destroyers will be worked out prior to the start. The destroyers will later take position in the Pacific for rendering any possible assistance to -the . fliers.—rAus.N.Z. Assn.
