MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
INTJKH-CLUB MATCH. On Tuesday a team from the Oeo Club paid a visit to the local range. The visitors‘were' briefly welcomed by the president of the Hawera -Club, Mr C. Cook, president of the Oeo Club, reaving cn behalf of the visitors. A ten-a-side match was fired, and resulted in a win for Hawera by 29 points. The following were the scores: Hawera.—Mrs Elgar 48, Mrs Hawkins 49, Miss Preston 46, Mrs Pae 47, Mrs Smith 43, Mrs Walker 47. E. Hart 18. P. Peterson 49, F. Pae 42, G. H. Tozer 46, total 465. Oeo.—C. Cook .39, H. Putt 41, L. Bolter 40, E. Calder 45, 0. Boss 46, C Ross 41, W. Boyce 47, J. Miller 47, P. Hughes 49, R. Smith 41, total 436. After the match a sumptuous supper, orovided hv the Hawera laclv members, was done full justice to. It is the- intention of the Hawera Club to return the visit at an early date.
