A message irom Victoria, BritishColumbia, states that Commander Maude, who left in a sloop for England in Mav, and whose whereabouts have been the cause' of anxiety lor several weeks, landed at an Indian village on the AVashington coast on Sunday, par. tial v blinded by the sun’s glare. The lone mariner said he was hit on the head by the boom and for many davs was in a semi-conscious state. He voyaged as far south as Santa Bar-bara.-—Reuter.
