SNOW AT CHRISTCHURCH. (BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 10. Snow fell in the city and suburbs last night, and there was a thick coating at seven a-.m. to-day, but- - a thaw followed. WEEK-END ACCIDENTS AT WELLINGTON, WELLINGTON, Aug. 10. Pour persons were admitted to the hospital as a result of accidents during the week-end. Richard Goss was injured in the face through falling in the street; David Boswell, a shunter at Thorndon station sustained a crushed hand by the member being caught between the buffers of two carriages; Lucy Kershaw', of Brooklyn, wms knocked dovm by a .motor car at Lambton and; sustained injuries to her head; Ethel MeHardy, of Adelaide Road, suffered a similar injury through being knocked down-by a car near her home. .
