* OPUNAKE ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Opunake Co-op. Dairy Factory Company, to be held in the Town HalL on Wednesday, August 12, the twenty-sixth annual report and balance-sheet to be presented; is as under: Your directors, have pleasure' in congnaltulajting shareholders on the success of tile .season's working. The output of butter shows ain increase, of 21 (tons 16 ewt 971-bs, representing 13.13 [km* cent, more than for the previous season.

Rapid fluctuations in the London market were 'again in evidence, and caused much concern to your directors. Your agents were given a. free hand in the disposal of the produce, and the prices realised are considered quite satisfactory. Ait the closing of the books a number of ishipmentsi were unsold, cabled reports have since come to hand, covering these, with, the exception of one small consignment. The prices realised have been in excess of the estimate and an additional sum of £llO to the balance of appropriation account is now available. A further payment of If per lb butter-fat, absorbing £2570 9s, will be paid pro rata to bona lido suppliers! on the 12th inst., and the balance, with further payments from casein, will be distributed when final .accounts are received. Statistics.—Pounds- milk received 9,040,317, l:bs butter-fat 352,520.5, lbs butter manufactured 420,516, over-run, 19.28, average -teat 3.899, average grade 91.75.
