PILGRIMAGES TO CENOTAPH. IV CABLE—PRESS ASSoCI A'I’VON—COPYRIGHT LONDON, Aug. 4. In connection with the eleventh anniversary of the start of the war there were many pilgrims to the cenotaph in Whitehall and the unknown warrior’s grave in the Abbey. There were most iiathetic scenes, poverty-stricken mothers placing posies of wild flowers at the base of the cenotaph in memory of their dead boys.
