SOME SYDNEY FIGURES

Official figures show that the retail prices of meat in Sydney in July last were 441 per cent .higher than in July, 1914, .and other food and groceries were 601- per cent -higher as compared with July, 1924. Meat was 4 por cent and ether food and groceries 5.) per cent dearer.
